In partnership with Aspire Health Alliance, Enhance Asian Community on Health (EACH) hosted two Gambling Addiction Awareness Workshops to support the Asian community in understanding behavioral addiction and available resources.
The workshops were held on December 29, 2025, in Quincy (Mandarin) and in Randolph, MA (Cantonese). Participants learned how gambling addiction can affect behavior, decision-making, emotional health, and family relationships, as well as the importance of early awareness and seeking help.
Through culturally and linguistically responsive education, these sessions helped reduce stigma, strengthen family understanding, and promote healthier communities.
EACH expresses heartfelt gratitude to The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation and Tufts Health Plan (a Point32Health Company) for sponsoring the 2025–2026 Open Enrollment Outreach Events. The initiative empowers the Asian communities to take a proactive role in early recognition and prevention of stroke, thereby promoting their health and well-being.

Is someone close to you having difficulties with controlling diabetes? This might involve keeping track of blood sugar levels, adhering to a specific diet, and sustaining a balanced lifestyle. If this is the case, we recognize the struggles you may be encountering and are available to provide assistance and access to resources to aid you on this path.
We are thrilled to announce a pivotal milestone in our commitment to enhancing health and wellness within our community, focusing on mitigating the language and cultural barriers to addressing chronic diseases, particularly within our Asian-speaking population. Ms. Hanna Chan and Sara Tan recently earned accreditation as Master Trainers for the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP), significantly enhancing our capacity to combat chronic diseases. This designation is a testament to their unwavering dedication and expertise in the field of diabetes prevention, but it also paves the way for us to begin training more Asian-speaking DPP coaches.
By empowering Asian-speaking coaches, we are bridging a critical gap in health education and access, ensuring that wellness knowledge is more inclusive and accessible. Ms. Chan and Ms. Tan's leadership in training DPP coaches will enable us to extend our reach, providing tailored support and fostering healthy lifestyle changes among Asian communities at risk of developing diabetes.
