EACH is actively pursuing national Adult Foster Care (AFC) accreditation through CARF International, as required by MassHealth for AFC service providers in Massachusetts.  Our AFC operating team is in place, monthly CARF consultation meetings are underway, and program development has formally begun.

Phase 1 – Program Foundation & Engagement (In Progress)

• Formal engagement with CARF for AFC accreditation

• Monthly consultation meetings with CARF initiated

Phase 2 – Program Implementation & Readiness (Upcoming)

• Caregiver recruitment and training

• Participant identification and enrollment for accreditation review

• Clinical oversight structure finalized (RN & Case Management)

Phase 3 – CARF Survey & MassHealth Readiness (Planned)

• CARF accreditation survey

• Accreditation decision

• Final readiness for MassHealth AFC provider operations
