We preserve cultural heritage by presenting traditional performances, educational programs, and community festivals that honor history, language, and artistic traditions while sustaining meaningful connections across generations.
We connect communities by fostering cross-cultural understanding through inclusive artistic experiences that bring individuals together, strengthen relationships, and cultivate shared appreciation across diverse backgrounds.
We elevate community voices by expanding opportunities for creative expression and advancing a vibrant, diverse cultural landscape that encourages participation, representation, and lasting cultural impact.
EACH’s Arts and Culture Center began with Kangtai, a grassroots collective formed by immigrants who shared a deep love for traditional Asian arts. The group included professionally trained artists—skilled in dance, music, and calligraphy—as well as teachers, homemakers, and professionals united by a desire to keep their cultural heritage alive in a new home.
Kangtai members met regularly to rehearse, refine their craft, and perform at cultural celebrations and community festivals. These gatherings were more than artistic practice—they created belonging, continuity, and shared identity within the community.
In 2016, Kangtai was formally integrated into EACH, laying the foundation for today’s Arts and Culture Center. Under EACH’s organizational structure, the program gained stability and expanded its reach. The Center now offers a sustainable platform for artists to lead workshops, present performances, and pass down traditional arts to new generations. Through stipends, contracts, and volunteer engagement, artists share their talents in festivals, senior centers, libraries, and schools.
What began as a small gathering of passionate individuals has become a central pillar of EACH’s commitment to cultural vitality and community wellbeing. The spirit of Kangtai continues in every performance—honoring heritage, strengthening connection, and enriching the communities we serve.
